The management of Quentor are committed to consistently control any significant impact on the environment as a result of its design and manufacturing processes. The aim of this policy is to reduce the risk of potentially costly pollution incidents, ensure compliance with environmental legislation and continually improve its business operations.
In order to comply with this, Quentor follows an Environmental Management System (EMS) framework that follows the standards set out in the internationally accepted standard BS EN 14001. Quentor highlights concerns about its own profitability and the management of environmental impact integrating the two motives in its policy. Thus Quentor aims to provide a workable methodology to achieve an effective Environmental Management System.
The involvement of all employees at every level is engaged to achieve the required results. In addition the environmental interests of the company’s stakeholders, such as customers, shareholders, local residents, regulators, local authority etc. are recognised.
BS ISO 14001 is seen to provide Quentor with a structured approach to planning, implementing and managing an EMS.
