In their continuous pursuit of promoting sustainable motorsports, Formula E launched an ambitious new initiative in 2022 to further improve the carbon footprint of their travelling freight logistics.
 
Quentor were keen to be involved in this exciting and credible project and worked closely with the operations division of Formula E from the outset.
 
Many ideas, concepts were shared along the way before the final solution of improved freight sustainability was declared by Formula E.
 
Volume and weight-restrictions were introduced, maximum profiles and base structures were changed to allow freight to easily transfer to the optimum carbon-friendly routing plans.
 
Quentor then worked closely with each individual Formula E Team, the associated Broadcasters and Battery suppliers to help devise the best new freight solution for Season 9 onwards that sat within the newly agreed parameters for Formula E freight.
